Short description of error
Blender crashes in Vertex Paint mode when selecting faces with showing wire & multi 3D viewports.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Based on the default startup
  2. Change properties area to 3D viewport
  3. In main viewport, the cube to Vertex Paint mode.
  4. Face paint mask is enabled. And showing wire frames enabled on overlay settings.
    (This setting refers to the attached .blend)

  5. In main viewport, try to click "A" or select some faces, and Blender crashes.
