The images used in the Window installer are from an older version of blender.org, they could be updated to match current style.

Hi @dfelinto I am almost new developer around here, I would like to work on this, can we ourselves select new images for the installer or is there someone I should ask ?
Hi @Calra, for the images themselves, @pablovazquez will look at it, you can poke him on blender.chat to see if he needs any help though.

Hi @dfelinto is this issue still open, I would like to take it as my first issue, should I try to reach out to @pablovazquez to get the new image ?

Did Blender ship 3.3.1 with a pumpkin model preloaded? I received a version
with a model of a pumpkin head preloaded. Files have been deleted
and created with a 1969 modified date. I thought at first that this was
someone's idea of a joke - and Blender is the only program I use very much, and
I installed the latest LTS version, thinking it might be an upgrade from 2.83 for a
long term project.
Or was the pumpkin model some other agent's idea of a way to interfere?
I'd hate to think that this is Blender's bug, but my system changes are
severe. I'm trying to rule out the latest install.

We never shipped a pumpkin, it's advisable to only install official blender.org releases , also a ticket about the artwork in our installer is hardly the place to discuss this.
As I thought - I've been hacked. I installed directly from a Blender site.
The change must have occured somewhere in between.
Very spooky, and not fun at all having a broken system.
Not Blender's fault then.
But the errors remain. Sorry for posting here - but my system is now in chaos...
Thanks for your quick response. Knowing where to look means something to me.
Could you please point where these artwork files can be found nowadays?
easiest way to obtain/update them is running
svn co https://svn.blender.org/svnroot/bf-blender/trunk/lib/win64_vc15/package/installer_wix/
then you can just swap out the files to whatever you want and commit the new ones.
if you want to try a few first to see what it looks like, just send the files to me on chat and i'll make an installer for you, don't think the bots are capable right now of working off svn branches.
