Worked: I cannot find one that has worked
Short description of error
Every time frame 17 of my animation is composited, an odd artifact appears in the middle of the render
(included are .exr files that are being composited)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I have already set up the compositing, so I recommend scrolling to frame 17 and doing a basic render.

Hi. You didn't pack any textures into the .blend file.
I opened 0017.exr and can't see anything unusual about it apart from the fact that bottom half is transparent.
Sorry about that, I packed the textures into the .blend file. The problem isn't with the .exr specifically, it is with the compositing. Whenever the .exr is rerendered with the compositing effects applied, the artifact appears. I should have been more specific.
I downloaded the updated .blend with textures packed. It has rendered all magenta so I had to reassign all the images in the compositor. Are these the artifacts you're talking about?
You can fix those by selecting "Convert Premultiplied":
The artifact I seem to be having is more like this:
Do you have newest graphic drivers? Lots of people have problems with Intel graphics. Often installing newest drivers from Intel's website helps.
Ok, I will try that.

Will put on hold until the new drivers have been tried...
My IT department still hasn't gotten back to me on upgrading our drivers, and by the time they do, this problem will likely not be relevant anymore. Thank you for trying to help though, and I am sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused
