Hi Antonio, apologies for the previous bug report attempt, I hope this is better

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: NVidea GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2
system Info file: system-info.txt

Blender Version
Broken: 2.8, 2.82, 2.83
Worked: Not aware of a version where it worked

Short description of error

strokes draw broken (have strange transparency artifacts) when depth order is set to 3D location, and when the camera is in motion around the object - most obvious when looking along the x axis in the positive direction.

It is also most obvious with textured brushes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. draw 3 strokes with grease pencil, one with Strength set to 5.000, one with strength set to 1.000, and one with a textured brush at 1.000
  2. in GP object set depth order to "3D Location"
  3. Tumble camera view around the stroke - artifacts will appear, mostly when looking along +X axis

This is not a bug a but a limitation/design decission of Grease Pencil.

Grease Pencil is a 2D drawing in 3D environment, but the strokes are always drawn as a billboard face to point of view. In your file, when you rotate, the circles always are flat to camera and this add opacity in your example. When you enable the 3D mode, you can move around in the 3D space the strokes, but always flat to point of view.

Thanks for the report, but the issue reported here is a request for modified/improved behavior and not a bug in current behavior. Closing as this bug tracker is only for bugs and errors.
