System Information:
Operating system: Linux-5.4.0-7634-generic-x86_64-with-debian-bullseye
Graphics card: GTX 1050Ti 440.82

Blender Version:
Broken: 2.90.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-06-15 10:35, hash: 2797a63a66
Worked: 2.83.0, 2.90.0 074d469165 (2020-06-02 08:39)

Short description of error:
The movie clip editor icon seems to flicker between two icons as the user interface updates. Here's a video example:
2020-06-15 23-44-00.mp4

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error:

  1. Open a movie clip editor.
  2. Move your mouse across the header of the movie clip editor and onto other editors in Blender.
  3. Notice how the movie clip editor icon flickers between two icons. (see screenshot below for what I mean by "movie clip editor icon")

I cannot reproduce this with the current development version of Blender:
Does this problem has been fixed?

@mano-wii I gave this build from the build bot a go and was unable to reproduce the issue: 2.90.0 (2020-06-15 16:49) hash: 4db63b6486.

However, building that same git hash on my own computer shows the bug. So it's a issue with the way I'm compiling things. I'm unsure what exactly is causing it as I have personally not modified my local copy of Blender from master and have followed the steps described here using the Blender provided libraries. I have even tested setting up a brand new build environment and I'm still able to produce the issue.

Is this a topic that I should discuss over on Blender chat or do we want to work out what's wrong here?

Marking as invalid as it's quite likely that the bug comes from me doing something wrong.
