Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Normal mapping and smooth shading is making the reflection vector below the geometric normal. This makes a discontinuity artifact when this happens.
We need to find a fast and elegant way of preventing this.

@suchanski avoid assigning the task to a developper yourself. Just tag the correct module that's enough. :)
This is because the reflection vector is below the geometric horizon plane, leading to incorrect lighting condition.
This is an issue that has been fixed in Cycles some time ago but has yet to be fixed in EEVEE.

This artifact affects Eevee reflections both from cubemaps and especially screen space reflections. Cycles in the same situation takes reflection from a somewhat arbitrary direction but looks ok.
Eevee vs Cycles. Black spots on the first image are caused by SSR, that samples reflection from the object itself.
