When you turn on the core functionality of the crop node, the transform gizmo vanishes.
This is undesirable behavior, as the ONLY reason to use the crop node... is to crop; not to box mask... We have the 'box mask' node for that.
It appears that the reason this setting exists, is to allow the user to transform and then activate the setting, but the extra step is no feature, it's paper-cut territory.
In general, this node needs usability design work as it's a very useful way to batch process individual images. Like 'left, right, up and down' Should at least be exposed as variables in order to leverage the usefulness of having 4 different settings the user has to tweak, or better still, scrap that and replace with X and Y Scale, and X and Y position entries, as most people controls crops across many softwares like this. You should also have designed it not to crop to 0,0,0,0 by default, as this hides the effect and is more disorienting to new users. It's also unexpected behavior, because in softwares like Gimp, Krita, Photoshop, the crop tool starts out by mapping to the document's res gate.
I will link to the Right Click Select ticket when I have created a mockup.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Go into compositor, hit f12, add a crop node to the image output, set the 'Left' to '0', the 'Right' to '1920', the 'Up' tp '1080' and the 'Down' to '0', then hit 'Crop Image Size'.
