Short description of error

When trying to pick a color from a object that has multiresolution, blender crashes

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

from the default startup file:

  • Add a multiresolution modifier to the cube.
  • Enter texture paint mode.
  • press S on the object.

Note: it only happens in texture paint mode, but not in vertex paint mode.

Checked on b8601b64c7 and and got the crash, but seems to be resolved in current master.
