Time Since Wake: 240 seconds

Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGILL)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Termination Signal: Illegal instruction: 4
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0x4
Terminating Process: Blender [50232]

DESCRIPTION OF ERROR
I was working on a fairly small model (around 300k tris) and after applying a boolean cut (using BoxCutter) Blender crashed (as it happened before a few times). This time tho when I try to re-open the file it crashes instantly. I tried with different versions but with the same results (I usually work in 2.83 so I tried with 2.9). I also tried to run it from the terminal with different options but with the same result)

STEPS TAKEN

the same happens with Blender 2.8
Tried --debug-gpu with non results (OpenGL debug callback is not available on Apple)
Tried --factory-startup did not work either

In new project:
File -> Append -> .blend -> Object
Hotkey "A" - select all objects, or select needed objects manually "CTRL + LMB" / "SHIFT + LMB".

"Camera" and "Bolt" copied successfully, but if "Append" all objects at once, Blender also crashed.
Never seen crashes when using "Append". I don't know how possible kill .blend so much.
Some objects fully broken, and cause crashes.
"Append" objects one at a time to find the problematic objects.

Thanks - I have also tried the Append approach and got the same results. BTW the same happened in a previous project and had to append objects one by one to figure out which one was corrupted!
What can cause an object to be "problematic" - I did not even have materials - just a few boxes with a bunch of cutters ... Anyway thanks for the feedback!
