System Information
Operating system: Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 750/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 445.75

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.91.0, branch: master, commit date: 2020-11-25 08:34, hash: 0f45cab862
Worked: 2.90.1

Short description of error
1024x768 images in Image Editor with fractional 1:1 zoom shows aliasing due to incorrect scaling or something related to interface.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open or render 1024x768 image and view it in image editor with fractional zoom 1:1 and maximized area of Image Editor.
Also, the appearance of the bug is influenced by the configuration of the working areas, for example, if two image editors are one above the other, then the fractional 1:1 zoom is correct. Also, at some proportions of the two editors, the display is incorrect. Perhaps 1:1 zoom works depending on the resolution of image and proportions of editor areas.

Update: It seems there is a bug only if the Windows Aero is not used. (Aero hurts eyes of some people. Please help!).

It turned out that Aero affects the vertical size of the window. Thus, it was found that the vertical size of the image editor affects the occurrence of the bug.

By ‘Windows Areo’ do you mean the Window default mouse pointer arrow? If so, good catch!

I had this issue in one of my files recently, but it only occurred in that particular file. I don’t use the Windows default mouse pointer arrow. I closed the image editor and opened a new one (merge the window then split the window). This made the issue disappear for me. Does it work for you?

It turns out that Windows Aero (stylized windows interface) does not affect itself, but it slightly resizes the Blender window. The appearance of aliasing in this way depends on the size of the window, the position of the image in the image viewer, and the scaling of the interface.

A separate image editor window shows aliasing at 1: 1 scale due to its specific size.

I can't find a window size + image position that could result in this aliasing.
So I can't reproduce the problem.

Can you check if this result is also seen in older versions of blender?

Rendered a black cube on a white background at 45 degrees. On the left is 2.91.0 with such a window size that the display at 1: 1 zoom is aliased. On the right is 2.90.1, which didn't have this problem:

I don't know how to proceed from here. (Can't replicate).
@Jeroen-Bakker, this may be related to the drawing changes in the image editor.
Do you have any idea what's going on?

Also with the latest nvidia driver 457.30 all the same: the vertical size of the Image Editor and/or a certain scale of the Blender interface result in a bug at some resolutions. At 1024x768 I can easily reproduce the bug, but at 1000x700 is not, also aliasing appears at 768x512 when the Blender window is maximized. And the result of rendering 640x480 for any window size looks like this. But the image itself is correct if you save it to a file.
