Short description of error
[Collection names doesn't update automatically when select an object in outliner or viewport is in collection, the collection name doesn't change in viewport Text info,if u select any collection then the object in another collection the names doesnt update.]

It's only update when you click on Collection, if selecting object it show active collection (as in your screens also)
yep i tried it in blender 2.90 and 2.83 the same problem happen too , its very useful to know the collcetion name when u make instances ,i hope get fixed soon.
It's how blender works, it only show active selection.
It you select more than one Collection or more than one object, only the active ones will be displayed.
i hope it get fixed soon and they update the last active object with his collection.

Changed status from 'Needs Triage' to: 'Archived'
This will display the name of the active collection (not the one the active object is in)
These are not the same collections necessarily, the active collection is the last selected/clicked on and for example it is this collection a new object is added to.
It might not be super-obvious, and there might be better ways to present this, but atm. this would not be considered a bug

Don't know how to PM here...
But if you need this option - here is an addon. It's not a perfect but do the job. All you need it's hit "J" in Outliner or in View in Object Mode.
It can't be implemented as always on, because you can't change active collection then, it will be always related to active object which in some cases cause a problems.
