Scaling object with wrapping the mouse snaps object scale back to screen size #84218

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 456.43

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.92.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-12-27 21:45, hash: aa64fd69e7
Worked: 2.91, 2.92 before christmas.

Short description of error
Scale an object by widget or hotkey S with wrapping the mouse over the window and then releasing the mouse is broken. It is now limited to the screen size. In former versions it was possible to scale the object continuously. Up to whatever value you need. Now you first have to zoom out to the final size, guessing what screen space could be big enough. And then you can start to scale.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Open sidebar, best to see with the scale values in sight.

Create a plane or any other primitive. Scale the object, and let the mouse wrap around the screen for a few times. Watch the scale value. Now release the mouse and watch the scale value again. It snaps back to a value that fits the object somehow to the screen.

This jumping seems to be another bug. I would suggest to make a separate bug report for it.
