Blender Grease Pencil hangs with "LLVM failed to compile shader" #84998

System Information
Operating system: Arch Linux with Kernel 5.10.9-zen1-1-zen
Graphics card: AMD Renoir (Radeon Vega 7 onboard with the Ryzen 7 4700U)
Driver: amdgpu / mesa-git 1:21.1.0_devel.133792.c57ef253422-1

Blender Version
Broken: 2.91.2-linux64 as per the official Blender download page
Worked: No newer version works (tested only blender-2.93.0-aaa1d580548d-linux64 though)

Short description of error
When selecting my Grease Pencil Stroke object, blender starts to hang (1 thread at 100% CPU usage) with 1 update maybe each 30 seconds at most. When not selected, navigation, edit mode, drawing and whatever else works just fine. The same behaviour occurs on my desktop machine with the same kernel/mesa-git version, but having an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X and AMD Radeon RX Vega 56.

It also happens in a Docker container running the very same Blender version but with ubuntu:focal as image, which should come with mesa 20.2.1, using x11docker to establish X server connection and GPU passthrough.

Selecting whe object works as intended when using softwaregl, but starting blender regularly causes the aforementioned issue. The terminal repeatedly spits out:

LLVM failed to compile shader
LLVM triggered Diagnostic Handler: Illegal instruction detected: VOP* instruction violates constant bus restriction
renamable $vgpr4 = V_CNDMASK_B32_e32 32768, killed $vgpr4, implicit killed $vcc, implicit $exec

Using my GPD Win 2 (Intel Core m3-7Y30 with Intel HD Graphics 615 Kaby Lake GT 2) and the same Kernel and mesa-git version, the other machines use, everything works fine. So it may be limited to the amdgpu driver

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Have AMD hardware I guess
Running the latest stable Blender
Have a Grease Pencil project with a somewhat big amount of vertices/strokes (though it may be something else, cause this doesn't happen on new projects)
deselect, then select the Stroke object in the top right.adventure factory2.blend

I also have the same problem here
