I actually have a graph you can use to figure out the deps, there's a dot file i tend to update after every large lib update, this one has not been updated with the current lib update but it be "close enough" just walk the graph bottom to top to figure what needs to be updated for a certain dep (the boost/numpy connection is optional and only there to ship pyopenvdb at some point in the future)

Note: Due to building issues, I decided to update USD built by install_deps to 20.08... We can also decide to update it to latest version at some point, but this one seems compatible, and I do not want to deal with monkey-patching in this script if I can avoid it. Ref 5dc87a3ca5.

@dr.sybren please decide what you want to do with USD, I can't say I have a preference, it has to be rebuild anyhow if you want a different version this be a good time to do it.

make deps is currently failing for me with Mesa, updating the library resolved the issues.

This is only used for blender-softwaregl on Linux, submitted diff that updates the library to the latest version. D10282: cmake/deps: Update mesa to 20.3.4

Version bump is up to the module owner to decide, @ideasman42 what do you want to do here?

+1 to update to Python 3.9.2 although the security issue is quite spesific, updating is mostly automated, so I don't see why not.
