Error Report in Blender 2.92

When I click anywhere in my Viewport, it appears that I am wanting to open an empty template, the Blender ready. A cube in the middle, a camera and a point of light.

When I was watching a tutorial for rendering an image, out of nowhere blender started to do that. I tried to uninstall and install, restart the computer, EVERYTHING! But nothing worked.

  • All operating systems;
  • All previous versions worked correctly.
  • When you click anywhere on the Viewport screen it happens. (At least for me)
  • I didn't get anything to prove it :( But I swear this is true!

Please fix it if you read it.

@Jake Unfortunately your edit hasn't made things clearer.

  • Please try to explain what you mean by "it appears that I am wanting to open an empty template". Is it opening the file browser, app template selection, deleting all objects in the scene, ...? Perhaps you can add a screenshot if it's difficult to describe.
  • Your edit states that this happens on all operating system. We need to know precisely which one you are using, what GPU you are using and what driver version. You can save this information through Help > Save System Info in Blender.

I suspect you accidentally edited your keymap. Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_factory_startup.cmd. This will start Blender with temporary factory default settings. If the issue doesn't occur when starting Blender like this the problem is either caused by the user preferences or an add-on.

Now it worked! Thanks!
