Short description of error
Viewport appears empty in Shading mode when I'm using my eGPU. With my Intel Iris iGPU, the Viewport Shading mode appears normal.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Congrats, you've now reproduced the bug (hopefully). I'm hoping this bug gets fixed soon as my iGPU is pretty much equal to a potato, so I have to use my eGPU so I could actually work with stuff.

I should probably note that this issue seems to only happen with that project, if I open a new project and go to Viewport Shading, the default cube does appear like expected.

Hi, thanks for the report. Can not reproduce here on 2.92 (neither on current master)
Can you still reproduce on [recent blender releases ]] or [ https:*builder.blender.org/download/daily | daily builds ?
I checked the daily builds and the latest one on Steam. The issue still persists.
Also, it appears you're using Windows 10. This seems to only happen on macOS, and possibly only on Navi 10 GPUs.

@Piipperi , can you reproduce with
High Quality Normals
enabled?: {nav Render Properties > Performance > High Quality Normals}(This may not help)

Actually it's a long standing issue. see- #65873 (Eevee - no volume density textures when using Vega 64 external gpu on macOS Mojave)
Will close this as duplicate. Feel free to comment if there is misunderstanding. I will reopen the report in that case.
