If a face of a closed model is deleted, the light next to it is visible inside

@YellowDragon , thank for the report. So this output you get with Eevee or Cycles render engine?
With Eevee, I am able to confirm.

The issue is that shadow mapping (the shadow technique used in EEVEE) is not a perfect shadowing solution and will always leak a small amount of light.
So this is a technical limitation, not something we can easily fix.
