Short description of error
When baking vertex colors with Cycles, Blender crashes when a mesh's normals are set to Auto Smooth.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Auto Smooth
to true in the Normals properties of the object's mesh.GPU compute

When baking the object 'Cube', having Auto Smooth disabled, no crash.
When baking the object 'CubeAutoSmooth', having Auto Smooth enabled, Blender crashes.

but not backported yet (can still reproduce with recent 2.93.2 build but not with 3.0.0)@schweppie , can you please try again with most recent 3.0.0 build? (https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/)
Yep! Seems to be fixed in the most recent 3.0.0 build

I have added the fix on the list to be backported, see #88449 (Blender LTS: Maintenance Task 2.93).
Will merge this report with #88756 though, no reason to keep two reports open now.
