Short description of error
Triangulated mesh lines appear on geometry that is a certain distance away from the origin in Cycles Rendered View and Rendered images

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • make a UV Sphere
  • move it to 2000 units in X (in other tests moving the geometry as little as 300 units caused the issue)
  • push some of the geometry around
  • switch to Rendered View in Cycles
  • the wireframes become more prominent the further you go from the origin

I originally experienced this issue with a rigged character - thought it was a problem with a rigged character but tested with simple geometry and found the same issue. Scaling the geometry through rig or at object level makes the lines thicker.
