Cursor wrap is terrible on macOS #92447

Short description of error
On macOS, there is an issue with the feature where dragging the mouse to the bounds of the viewport wraps it to the other side. It works but very poorly. It often makes the object jump very far and if the cursor is moving fast enough it may not even wrap at all. I find myself carefully keeping my cursor away from the edge of the viewport because the moment it touches it, my object or operation will be completely messed up. This is particularly frustrating when precisely tuning a bevel operation or scale because suddenly my model just breaks from scaling or beveling 10x as much as it should, forcing me to hit ESC and restart the operation.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Do any blender operation where your mouse cursor reaches the edge of the viewport a few times at varying movement speeds on macOS.

As far as I can see this is already fixed in alpha nad waiting for backport to 2.93 is that correct? If that is the case this could be closed already.
