f1cca30557
Broken: 2.90, 2.91, 2.92, 2.93, 3.0 used something else (black in my case)
Worked: 2.83
Short description of error
The UV Editor theme does not have a
View Overlay
option. So the color of the scale operation widget, for example, can only be edited in the 3D View.3D View:
UV editor:
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

This seems to have a bit of history:
Viewport Overlay
color was used for scaling arrow indicator)c641107c95
Since this is not really a recent regression, I dont think it would necessarily be in 3.0.1
OTOH, it does not sound harmful, @JulianEisel : what do you think?
Changed status from 'Needs User Info' to: 'Needs Developer To Reproduce'
Push the S key on Blender 3.0 -VS- Blender 3.1.0to Scaling widget does not use Viewport Overlay color [fixed in 3.1 - request for inclusion in corrective release]@JulianEisel and @lichtwerk
I am deaf and blind (low vision)
Any Push the R key, S, and etc viewer color appear.
Yes correct.
@JulianEisel
I am still wait for you.
@JulianEisel and @lichtwerk
Blender 3.3.0 Alpha resolve I can see color
BUT I unable to see line. Please fix.

@OmarEmaraDev
Blender 3.5.0 they did not change thickness line I was wait too long.
UV Editor can't read too.
Push the S key
@Kent-Davis, with the Line Width setting set to Thick , the line becomes thicker to me:
The overlay color issue seems to be solved, so closing this report. If the line width is still an issue, better to handle that as a new report (it's a separate issue).
Please stop. There is not resolve.
UV Editor is not resolve. Still black during UV S or R.
3D Viewport
You see green on 3D Viewport how bout change color without black on UV ?
@JulianEisel You did not understand what I told you.
You need to know change color on S, R because of Preferences THEME change color. UV must have color during S or R
You need to use your own iMac. Do not use Windows please.
See picture still too thinner.
Plus UV still too black during S or R. Need to fix change to be Color!
Multiple problems are being discussed here, it's not clear to me what's working now and what isn't.
GPU_SHADER_3D_LINE_DASHED_UNIFORM_COLOR
). How hard would that be to support @fclem?Ok thanks.
@PratikPB2123 know already about that Mac and Pratik did contact to all Mac.
@mano-wii Would you like fix code about above.
Linux is a WINDOWS and DOS with IBM only.
Linux is NOT FOR MAC.
Mac is Macintosh, MacOS.
This is a known issue on Mac systems and already discussed at #89200 (Research: refactor dotted/dashed lines to support line width).
There's no simple solution.
But this is something the Eevee and Viewport team is aware of and will certainly work on an alternative.
I'm going to close this report since there's another task in the developers task stack.
@mano-wii
No that is not EEVEE.
I do use Cycles.
You have forget about UV color too you did not answer correct.
@mano-wii
You forget about UV Editing tab there is black push the S or R need to fix to be color like 3D Viewport.
I can't read too black on UV.
You did not answer correct because you did not catch me I said COLOR "CCCOOOLLLOOORRR"
You see color
I can't see too black.
Ah, now I understood. I read the comments mentioning the other problem (dashed line width) and ended up thinking you were referring to this one. But I can confirm that, unlike the 3D View, the UV editor doesn't have an option in Themes to change the cursor color of the Scale operation.
Scaling widget does not use Viewport Overlay color [fixed in 3.1 - request for inclusion in corrective release]to UV Editor has no 'View Overlay' Theme option@mano-wii
Finally you get it. There Preferences 3D Viewport > View Overlay copy code from 3D Viewport and paste into code UV Editing.
