Short description of error
Volume is blocky when looked through the glass. When you disable the glass object everything looks good.

Yes, it works with min 3 bounces but isn't that a bug anyways? I mean it shouldn't look that way by min 0 bounces.

@Florian-10 I checked with few builds, from older 3.1 to latest and can't reproduce this issue. Can you check if it happens with latest alpha?

Also I rendered on GPU with optix, is that same in your case?

You should merge this report to #94425, I describe the issue better there. And I can still reproduce on the latest 3.1 beta and 3.2 alpha.

I guess I could merge this report, but I am not sure whether it is equivalent - I can reproduce #94425, but not this one.

It could be, that ultimately these have same root cause, but I would expect to reproduce both then.

It's because you simulated it at a lower resolution, making the blocks almost fill the hourglass. As I mentioned in the detailed report, this matters.

Here is the sim at 130 resolution, you can easily see the blocks.

Here it is at 32 resolution, the blocks are still there but you might miss them due to their size.

It's because you simulated it at a lower resolution, making the blocks almost fill the hourglass. As I mentioned in the detailed report, this matters.
