Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Start a new Blender
  • Add a Video Editor Layout or Tempate

The sequencer window is green. Seems like a graphics bug?

Definitely looks like GPU bug. Don't see anybody with this exact hardware though. @ankitm can you repro?

blender-3.0.1-candidate+v30.9d6680e7f9b7-darwin.x86_64-release.dmg works fine
On Intel HD 6000 gpu, blender-3.1.0-alpha+master.e69020ad0f52-darwin.x86_64-release.dmg shows these random artifact:

macOS 12.1

  • Default startup -> Video editing
  • See pink artwork
  • Cmd + N -> VFX
  • Cmd + N -> Video editing
  • VSE is normal now

Was able to reproduce something similar on linux intel 8600M by using blender --open-last.

Issue is that the image texture isn't cleared when performing color management.

Hey @Kent-Davis from the timestamp of your comment, I am pretty sure you downloaded the c4bedeb018 build, as that was the latest availble.

The next daily build with the fix for this issue wasn't built yet, but it is now.

Try downloading the newest daily build and see if it is fixed.

If not, please open a new report.
