Short description of error
When using sculpt mode's trim tools even with low poly (under 20k) meshes, in some cases memory consumption increases rapidly which may result in crash due to not enough memory available. If there is enough memory operation still will not be finished even after an hour but CPU will be used constantly.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
After a few cuts there will be a memory use surge and operation will hang up Blender

Hi, thanks for the report. I don't think there is a memory leak, I managed to reproduce it but it did not crashed. Just constantly used CPU without much change in memory after it's spiked. After some minutes memory returned from 14 Gb to about 3Gb (only for Blender) but even after an hour there was no progress nor Blender crashed.
In your video there is also no crash. If it did to you later or in other instances I assume it's when your system run out of memory. I'll edit task accordingly.
I think it creates problem with multiple areas that are occluded by each other. I also did not managed to replicate it in object mode with boolean using cylinder.
Area that triggered issue for me:

I'd tag this as a known issue. The trim tools need to be further optimised or this is related to a project to put in warning messages in time. Sculpt Mode suffers from many accidental freezes from certain operations

Same as #84229 (Sculpt Trim tools are very slow), will merge reports
