This can be fixed by reducing smooth tolerance value ({nav Line Art modifier > Chaining > smooth tolerance})
Doesn't look like a bug. @ChengduLittleA can you check?

image.png Seems to work fine with these settings. Thank you @PratikPB2123

I have also tested this in the production file where I found the original error and it has fixed the line art in that scene as well thank you.

@TinyNick @PratikPB2123 Yes this is indeed the behaviour of smooth tolerance.

I'm thinking of removing that default value of 0.2 so it's always 0 fresh start, so it won't confuse people. This value is mainly there for smoothing out geometries that has subdiv, it looks much better with this default value.

Any ideas guys?

I think it should be left as is, lots of users subdivide meshes, maybe just document the importance of this option if its not already in the manual would be the only course of action i see.
