System Information
Operating system: macOS-12.3-x86_64-i386-64bit 64 Bits
Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT OpenGL Engine ATI Technologies Inc. 4.1 ATI-4.8.13

Trackball with 512 dpi - 2048 dpi, Logitech MX ERGO.
380 x 2160 resolution monitor.

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.1 Release Candidate, branch: master, commit date: 2022-03-24 13:38, hash: fb2cb0324a
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
The response from the rotation gizmo is slow, the problem is present in any mesh for this we use the simplest mesh (cube) the problem is in the 3.1 and 3,1.1 RC. In the version 3.0.1 the response is immediate. Another gizmos are not affected.

blender1.mov

Apparently related to #96435 (Regression: very long input delay when dragging some gizmos handles in macOS)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
In a black file.
1.- Add a cube.
2.- Edit mode, vertex mode.
3.- Select rotation gizmo and select the complete mesh.
4.- Rotate the mesh using the gizmo, the response is slow sometimes it shows the spinning ball.

Hi, thanks for the report. This looks same as reported in #96591, #96435

Please test again after factory reset: {nav Edit > Preferences > Save & Load (3 horizontal lines) > Load Factory preferences}

The problem persists after the factory settings, also to confirm scale gizmo and the transform gizmo also has this input lag.

Thank you for the update.
Please attach the system info file: {nav Help > Save System Info} and screen recording of the problem.
Also it'll be useful if you provide this info-

Both files attached,

I'm using a trackball that has 512 dpi - 2048 dpi, Logitech MX ERGO. Not pretty sure how to display the actual dpi but this is the manufacturer spec. And the monitor has a resolution of (380 x 2160).
