Short description of error
When you Exclude (Disable) a collection with lower sub collections
and when you un-exclude (Enable) the same collection with lower sub collections
all lower sub collections remain Excluded (Disabled)
I don't think this is intended, but I've experienced this{F13004372} even with previous versions of blender
When this happens I had to un-exclude (Enable) them one by one and it's consuming lot of time
especially when you have a larger scene
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I was not sure if I could reproduce this error but I somehow I could do it
1.Make a Superior Collection A
2.Make a Lower Collection B and put inside of Collection A
3.Make a Lowest Collection C, D and E and put all of them inside of Collection B
4.In summary you have Collection C,D and E inside of A\B
5.now exclude B (C,D,E are excluded)
6.exclude A (C,D,E are excluded)
7.unexclude A or B (doesn't matter which one you pick C,D,E will not comeback and will remain excluded)
I've made a short video about this issue for the better understanding
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWfKEtAMVqs&ab_channel=JayPatrick
I've been using blender for years but even now I do think myself a noob, I need to more learning
If it is not a bug and if it is intended please let me know and also teach me how to bring back all excluded (disabled) collection
at once so I don't need to un-exclude them one by one.

I've tried
Shift + Un exclude
Ctrl + Un exclude
Alt + Un exclude
to unexclude all lower collection but
none of them worked

Hi, thanks for the report.
To me this looks as duplicate report of #84305 (Outliner: when excluding collections from view over more than one nesting level state gets lost (plus fix))
Closed as duplicate of #84305
Yes you are right that's exactly the same issue
Thank you Mr Pratik Borhade for letting me know that it was a duplicated report and subscribing me to the original post.
