Can't undo the keyframe change in edit mode #97700

Broken: version: 3.1.2, branch: master, commit date: 2022-03-31 17:40, hash: cc66d1020c
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
While in edit mode, when you hit Undo in the graph editor after moving a keyframe, the graph doesn't change.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Animate anything using a couple of keyframes.
  • Change to edit mode in viewport
  • Switch timeline to the graph editor (not necessary, you can keep timeline as it is)
  • Select a keyframe and move it

Hit undo

Result: The graph editor stays the same

Expected: The move you just made in the graph editor should be the only thing being undone!

I don't know if I understood the steps correctly, but I can't reproduce the problem:

As you can see in the GIF the Undo ({key Ctrl Z}) works correctly for me.

Can't repro either.
Viewport and graph editor both updates to there previous states after undo.
If any extra steps your are missing then please mention them
Also try with factory settings: {nav File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings}

I can confirm when in edit mode.
I don't think this behavior is expected. In undo history, current step is switched to previous one but it doesn't update the keyframe position and viewport.

Think this part of the usual global vs. Editmode undo issues... @ideasman42 shall know better, but for now will consider this a known issue.
