System Information
Operating system: Windows 11
Graphics card: GeForce RTX 3060 TI
Blender Version
Broken: 2.83 ... 3.2.0
Worked: Unknown
When using any sort of multiple select operation (e.g., select all, band select, lasso select), the graph editor does not populate the left panel with channels. However, the graph view itself is populated with key handles, and it is possible to manipulate them.
Shift-selecting any of the bones in the selection will force the graph channel list to properly populate.
The video below shows the issue:
grapheditorbug.mp4
I'm able to reproduce this with a minimal set-up as well. It seems to be triggered by having any other object in the scene, but I can't be sure what is actually causing it.
Another oddity. The bug does not manifest if you already have a bone from the armature selected. It only seems to occur if no bones are selected at all.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Changed status from 'Needs Triage' to: 'Confirmed'
I can confirm the issue back to 2.83, so seems like it never worked.
This issue seems to be related to #81922 (The Graph Editor doesn't show any curve of the Armature (if in Pose mode, but armature unselected, with box/circle/lasso tools)).
@dr.sybren noted in a comment that this will only occur if the armature object is not actually selected in the outliner. This is still the case despite that the bug was closed.

@OmarEmaraDev Can we get this elevated to a high priority bug? This is extremely inconvenient to have to contend with and creates endless annoyance while animating. I've been doing a lot of animating recently and I have to work around this bug dozens of times a session.

Seconded
@cmbasnett Raising the priority is up to the module developers, so maybe reach out to the module on Blender chat and let them know.
Looks like drawing of widget/blocks has been fixed already since 3.3
@cmbasnett , can you confirm?
Will close since this is fixed already.
