Hi.
I think it would be convenient to add a few cursor snapping options:
What do you think?
Thanks for the feature request. Could you please clarify how these cursor snapping options would improve upon the existing snapping options? Currently, you can use the menu (Object/Mesh/… ‣ Snap ‣ Cursor to …) or the shortcut (Shift-S) to achieve similar functionality.
I’m not quite sure how these new options would enhance the current functionality.
You are perfectly correct. The cursor snapping options are available from different locations (from the Blender menu, from the pie menu, from the right click menu).
I've been thinking that it would be nice to also have these cursor snapping options close to the 3D Cursor Briefcase saves slots, on the N panel.
This feature request is just for convenience and easy access to these cursor snapping options; I believe that the Blender user might want to also see them accessible there (as shown on my mock-up image).
Btw, it's just an idea. I would understand your hesitation to add these buttons if you think they would be redundant.
I understand your suggestion to add cursor snapping options to the N panel for convenience and easy access. However, I think the existing snapping options are already very handy since they are already available from multiple locations. Adding these options to this panel does not significantly improve functionality and leads to unnecessary UI clutter.
Thanks for the suggestion, though! It's always nice to see someone thinking of ways to improve this add-on.
