Edit Operator add-on gives "maximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Python object" error. I'm not familiar with that and would appreciate help with it.

@nickberckley This error was reported here one year ago. I fixed it, but the addon remains unstable. It crashes when using the search box, and not all the operators seem to work.
The crash is only present in Blender 4.2

For the records, render_freestyle_svg requires "import parameter_editor" which fails on 4.2.
