Hello, I am new to Blender. I did a google search for the download link and clicked what I thought was the link to download blender. The page looks similar to Blender.org but the page I was on was blentder.org As my chrome browser started downloading the windows installer it reported that there was a virus detected in the setup program.
Someone is somehow trying to pretend to be you. Their page looks similar to yours:

It came up with a search on google for your binary download.

There isn't much Blender can do about this. And actually it's best not to share the links at all since that will only help them. The best thing anyone can do is to just report the ad to Google. And please only download from the proper blender.org domain of course!
Could you edit your message to remove the link? Thanks.
