I think that the https://www.blender.org/get-involved/ page could feature another div block containing a text that would explain that feature requests can (should) be posted on Right-Click-Select (and why they must not be posted on Devtalk).

Mock-up:

Right-click Select is not really an "official" Blender platform. It's a community initiative started by Jason van Gumster and then taken over by Francesco and me.

With Francesco we discussed that eventually something similar to RCS should become part of Blender's platforms but it'd probably be called something else and follow the same design as Blender websites.

Thanks for the idea but closing this for now.

Yeah, the message that you wrote on the Right-Click-Select About page has been teasing us : 😊

  • Over the coming months of 2024 we want to build a new platform from scratch, that takes over and expands the concept of Right-Click Select. Fully open source and aligned with the Blender project, to which anyone can contribute and help curate and moderate.

I am longing to see this upcoming platform.

What surprises me a bit is that you plan to create a new platform from scratch, especially considering how much you and Francesco have worked on Dillo, and how close you are to completing Dillo 4 milestone.
Since you and Francesco are now the official maintainers of Right-Click-Select, what stops you from moving all suggestions from Right-Click-Select (all the backend + database) to, let's say, suggestions.blender.org ?
