System Information
Firefox 25.0 on Linux Mint 15 (64-bit)

Short description of error

  • When I try to assign tasks to myself by typing "aligorith" or "aligorith (Joshua Leung)" or "Joshua Leung" or any other combination into the "Assigned To" box, there is no response. That is, it doesn't show any suggestions or confirmations.

  • Clicking out of the "Assigned To" box after doing this simply clears whatever text I'd typed into that box.

  • Most of the times I've tried, I've tried to do it from the "Edit Task" view.

Issue was caused by our database having login "watch" which is apparently an object's method in firefox.
Added workaround for this into the code. You would probably need to Ctrl-F5 the page and assignment shall work fine.

Btw, you need to choose item from the list, not just type the text in the field.
