Phabricator: Profile quick snippet shows raw blurb (no rich text formatted) #37449

Short description of error
A Phabricator user profile allows for links and other 'fancy' markup resources in the blurb field.
So far so good, you can see here that I added a few links to mine: http://developer.blender.org/p/dfelinto/

The problem is that when you mouse over an account nick (e.g., in Cycles project page) the profile blurb is showing the 'raw' input, not the fancy, html-like result.

See the image: blurb.jpg

I would propose to either:

  1. support rich text in the profile quick snippet
  2. strip off the rich markups and leave only the plain text in the profile quick snippet
  3. remove the ability of using rich text in profile blurbs
  4. leave as it is (not a big issue, I know ;)

I agree it would be nice, but this is out of scope for us. We can do some tweaks to phabricator to make it work better for the Blender project, but I will leave topics like this to phabricator developers themselves. The workaround is to not add links first in your blurb.
