System Information
linux and windows (probably others)
Graphics card:
nvidia and intel (probably others)

Blender Version
2.79, 2.8, 2.9, 3.0 (probably others)

Short description of error
At some point a while ago, probably when the wheels were converted to groups and instances, the mirroring for the right side of the car got a bit scrambled. The rear right wheel kind of survived but the front right didn't. In v 2.79 it's not so noticeable unless you mess around with the steering (i.e. set the wheels straight forwards etc)

The disk breaks weren't being rotated with the steering so "poked" through the rim on the front wheels

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open the blend file and look at the wheels.

Steps to fix error

  1. The Translate constraints on the wheels don't seem to do anything as far as I can see so remove those.
  2. The Cube object should be renamed breakCaliper, the instances of the disk breaks don't need to be scaled 80% for the front wheels
  3. The right side rear wheel can be rotated 180 about the Z axis to keep the BMW logo the right way up but the front one needs to be rotated about the X axis in order for the steering to work nicely.
  4. Scaling in Y direction +0.8 for both front wheels
  5. Copy rotation constraint added to front disk breaks.

Attached are my edited files but you might like to check these out and contact the original artist. As far as I can tell my changes don't alter the render times in any way but that's also important for this particular blend file.
