Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
When you copy and then paste an image from the clipboard directly in the text field, the image only show up for you (original poster)... on everyone else it says "not found"...
Example of posts with this problem:
blender/blender#116665 (comment)
blender/blender#117351 (comment)
To reproduce, just paste an image from clipboard in a comment, and then open the post in a private/incognito window or on another web browser... and you'll see that the pasted image won't show up...
I'm not certain that it is as simple as that. I suspect this happens if you click "submit" while it is still uploading perhaps?
The other day I made 6 separate PRs, one after the other as they were all related, doing each one the same. Only one ended up with broken images.
The following test image was pasted directly into this comment:
Edit: and is visible when I view it from an incognito window
Hmm, I don't think so... the images seemed to be fully uploaded, they were even showing just fine in the preview mode...
Can you see the following image?
Ok, this is weird... I can see it on a private window..
So it seems like the issue happens randomly...
This may be resolved upstream: "copy/pasting an image and then showing as not found" https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/28915
That indeed looks like the same thing. We'll confirm the next time we update Gitea.
This should be fixed now with the latest Gitea update, if not we can reopen this.
