I discussed the following with @Arnd:

  • We aim to configure the shared internal Hostfile in our PfSense setup to ensure those hostnames are resolvable by our internal DNS.
  • Additionally, we should explore ways to simplify the SSH configuration file.

Changes to our internal search domain and DNS have been communicated within the infrastructure team.
