The generate_fake_data script is missing critical details, and some which could help speeding up development and testing various environments.

  • Tagline — added in 27013da095
  • Multiple tags — more than 1, users like to use many
  • Some extensions without reviews — they all seem to have at least 1 review now
  • Extensions with multiple versions — To test version history
  • Extensions with multiple permissions — nice to see how it'd look while developing
  • Licenses — one, and multiple
    • Blender Kitsu — added in 3aa770d476
    • Randomly generated extensions !75
  • Random review activity in Approval Queue
    • Comments from owner, admin, regular users
    • Change of status (awaiting review, awaiting changes, approved)

Other areas which would be nice to have randomly generated data:

  • Abuse Reports for
    • Extensions
    • Reviews
    • Users — when implemented
