The partial navigation_global sizes are defined explicitly, often in pixel units. Explicit, pixel-based size definitions are useful to make styles behave uniformly accross projects (agnostic to root em sizing), but spacings don't align with baseline-based visual rhytms introduced in v2 yet.
Make explicit size definitions reflect v2 sizing and spacing changes, while keeping the 'drop-in', or project-agnostic nature of the navigation_global partial.
