Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The Operator "Check for Media Update" (used for bulk media updated) uses a directory called "Media Update Search Paths" to find new playblasts, but the "Change Media Strip Source" [Up & Downn arrows](used for individual media updates) uses the playblast directory.
If a user tries to use this "Check for Media Update" operator it won't work unless they manually set the "Media Update Search Paths" to include the playblast directory. This behaviour is not consitent with the rest of the add-on.
Possible Solutions
Only use Playblast Directory for Media Updates and to find new video files remove "Media Update Search Paths"
this is a more straight forward user experience
Use both Playblast Directory and "Media Update Search Paths" to find new video files
this allows more customization but is more complex
Blender Kitsu: Meda Update Workflowto Blender Kitsu: Media Update Workflow@hjalti do you use this media update feature?
@fsiddi any input on this?
This is indeed redundancy due to the merge of two add-ons. I suggest you go for opt 2. In that case, you could update the description accordingly something like "in addition to the editorial directory, recursively check for media in this directory".
