When changing the ownership of Material back and forth between Shading to Rigging or Shading to Modeling, the Claim Surrender button somehow froze although I already set Surrender Ownership on either side.
One case example that needed this workflow is when I needed to change the shader color with mix node, and the Factor to be driven by custom properties in the Armature, so I set the ownership of Material from Shading to Rigging. Another scenario would be a revision of the shader and you need to change the ownership of the shader back to the Shader artist, and this is where the problem began.
The Claim Surrender becomes frozen and the only one who can Claim it is, guess what... not Shading, not Rigging, but Modeling. And I know this because I open the publish file and there is the Claim Surrender for Modeling. This does not make sense to me.
