Because image embeds are broken. See Blender Kitsu, Lattice Magic, GeoNode ShapeKeys, and probably more.

Currently, studio.blender.org just references the ReadMe.md of these add-ons, but instead that should be moved directly to the docs, and the media paths changed accordingly. The ReadMes should then just link to the docs. This was done for Easy Weight already for example.

This is not a bug.
