Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Short description of error
When the rig is moved in the viewpor it'll leave behing a ghost. To reproduce this bug I used the spring.blend from SVN directory of the spring project
/spring/lib/char/spring/spring.blend .But this should be reproducible with any rig
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Caused by blender/blender@798d2ca.
It's related to hair, happens in a simple scene just moving the object:
hair_ghost.blend
