Braintree isn't planning to integrate local payment methods into DropIn UI any time soon https://github.com/braintree/braintree-web-drop-in/issues/539#issuecomment-762946526

It's mostly a matter of prioritization. We're juggling a lot of things right now, and adding local payments to Drop-in is in our backlog, but not at the top of it.
If you're going to do the work anyway, feel free to open a PR. That'll go a long way to speeding up it's inclusion in Drop-in.

However, we could still try integrating them alongside DropIn UI, probably:

While I don't fully understand what this task was about, I know a lot of work was done on various payment related stuff over the last 4 years, so I wonder if this task can be closed?
