ffmpeg-go has been around awhile and appears stable enough for the somewhat minimal flamenco use case.

I have misgivings re: distributing externally compiled unsigned binaries. Perhaps consider building ffmpeg binaries in-house if ffmpeg-go is a non-starter?.
