It would be nice if job settings could declare that they need to be optionally auto-evaluated. This would allow keeping the render frame range in sync with the scene frame range.

This could be a toggle that sets it to "auto-update", which would trigger evaluation of the property on job submission (just like hidden settings with an eval key). When this toggle is enabled, it could grey out the field to communicate that the value is basically ignored on submission (in favour of the evaluated value).
