Adding vertices when Basis Shapekey is active prevents changes to the Basis from affecting other keys

Cycles (and sims?): Support Intel 12th Gen CPUs

Will it be fixed? As a user, I expect rendering to be on all cores. It is very strange to see a decrease in performance when losing focus from the blender window.

Can you explain bit more in detail step 5? No matter what I do, I am able to add new keyframe.

  1. Select frame 50.
  2. Press "I".
  3. The key will not be created.
