High resolution meshes no longer show any topology in 4.0
Issue was resolved. Seems 4.0 turns Wireframe Fresnel off by default for some reason, but turning it back on makes hi-rez models visible again.

I think I have a reproducible case because it has done it 3x in a row. I have uploaded a screen recording showing it crash along with the Blender project:
