Crash on calling curve pen operator

Fixed the bug. curve.pen no longer shows up in non-edit modes. I just now have no clue how to submit my fix.

Crash on calling curve pen operator

I'm just starting to contribute to Blender. Could I try and fix this? Also is there any more info about this ie files to check, what type of crash, and if it appears on multiple systems?

Edit text overlay not working after C++ conversion

I'm just starting contributing to OSS is there anything in particular I should no about this issue? Like what it looked like before the c->c++ file conversion?
